Bio Powder Borax

Laundry:

Use 1 Tablespoon of Borax for each 4.5 Litres of water for blankets, woollens, coloured fabrics, napkins and coloured washing.

Enamelware:

To maintain the sparkle on all enamelled surfaces, refrigerators, stoves, sinks, baths, tiles etc. use 4 tablespoonfuls of Borax to each 4.5 Litres of hot water.

Starching:

Use one teaspoonful of Borax to 4 tablespoonfuls of Silver Star Starch. Prepare the starch in the usual manner, then dissolve the Borax in a little boiling water and add to the Starch.

Borax produces a b beautiful gloss and preserves the natural texture of the fabric.

Concrete Paths:

Wash with a solution of 5 tablespoonfuls of Borax to each 4.5 Litres of Hot Water.

Tea, Coffee and Fruit Stains:

While the stain is fresh apply a liberal amount of powdered Borax and then rinse in hot water. Borax is more soluble in hot water than in cold.

To wash woollens and blankets.

Use a pure soap powdered Borax and luke warm water. Take one tablespoonful of powdered Borax for each 4.5 Litres of water and dissolve with the soap in hot water.

Add the hot water to the luke warm wash water, squeeze the suds gently through the woollens and rinse. Borax preserves the natural softness in woollen fabrics.
